About the collection
A little less setup.
A little more testing.
Sometimes the thing you need is just a file: larger than a toy example, smaller than your production export, and safe to share.
Mertinlow is a small static collection of generated fixtures for developers. The files are intended for trying out importers, line-oriented tools, progress indicators and HTTP downloads. They are not benchmarks or measurements of any real service.
Where the data comes from
A deterministic generator produces every row from a fixed seed. Service names, regions, timestamps, response sizes and durations are synthetic examples. The collection contains no scraped records, personal data or production logs.
What is here
The first release contains a single service-event schema in CSV and NDJSON, plus a ZIP starter pack. File sizes, record counts and checksums are computed from the actual files during the build. The larger CSV is available separately to keep the starter pack manageable.
Using the files
Permission is granted to use, copy, modify and redistribute the generated fixtures for any purpose, without charge. The files are provided without warranty. You can keep them in test suites, share them with a colleague or adapt the schema to your own tooling.
A simple site
No accounts, advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies. Ordinary server access logs may record requests for operations and troubleshooting. Downloads are direct links, with standard HTTP range support.
Versioning
This is fixture set v1, released on 6 November 2026. Version numbers are part of the filenames. Use the JSON manifest and checksums when referring to a particular file in a test.
